I don’t really know how much I mean to someone out there, because I never asked. I never searched hard enough. Maybe I was scared of the answer. But I know this,

when death visits, it leaves a heartache that never fades. Yet somehow, we carry on, not because we forget, but because the moments we shared breathe life back into us.

But love, love isn’t like that.

Love leaves a memory no one can steal.

One night, out of the stillness of sleep, the purest peace we know, came a sudden roar. It wasn’t clear, it wasn’t kind. Just loud. Jarring.

Then came a voice. Was it the right one or the wrong?

The right one would honour my truth, give me a name beside his.

The wrong would tarnish it, leave me lost in the noise.

The silence was broken.

And I stood there, not knowing what to do

But hoping, deep down,

That I was right about what I felt.

I’m ready to forge stars if I must,

Break odds, mend what’s broken

Because my love is strong.

So strong that even your smile could set the world alight.

I’d write it all across the skies

The jokes, the quarrels, the overreactions, the precious chaos.

Moments worth a lifetime.

The wait is long, but it feels right.

Even if I go mad waiting, I’ll go mad with love.

And when night falls again,

The world will read a story they never knew existed.

Love like this can’t be defined.

It isn’t always eternal,

But it’s never nonsense.

Sometimes, love finds you, like destiny unfolding in real time.

So I wait.

Because when we love, we grow.

We strive.

We become better.

And when we do, everything around us rises with us.

I don’t mind how long it takes

I’m just glad to believe you’re out there.

I’ll keep looking for you.

Keep waiting.

Because I believe in the kind of love that arrives out of nowhere and stays.

So here I am, Universe

Ready.

Open.

And waiting.

Bring me love, not perfect,

But true.
